We spend much of February in NYC at trade shows & appointments picking out all the lovely things you see in the shop. This look had me thinking about form and function for these types of days. The regular size of the Clare V Moyen Messenger is large enough for all the work-while-traveling essentials.

My graphic-design brain had me start with a color palette and go from there. A little bit 80s, a little bit Coastal Grandma (remember that micro-trend?), and a little bit manifesting warmer springtime weather.

styling the Clare V. Petit Claude Bag


This new Clare V. style had us contemplating what our bags say about us. Slouchy? Structured? Crossbody? Shoulder? Do you mind digging around in a big oversized bag for your wallet? Do you carry your entire life in your bag or just the essentials?

I started with mixing typography in the bag strap and graphic sweater vest and brought in some primary colors to let the clean white (yes the color is called Brie) bag pop.
